Porta
Owned and operated by the same brothers who own Joseph Benjamin right next door, Porta was Joe and Ben Wright’s idea come to life for a wholly Iberian tapas experience. The Porta in Chester opened its doors in 2012, and a second Porta quickly followed in 2016, located in Altrincham. In contrast to Joseph and Benjamin, Porta’s goal is simplicity. The idea was to have a small, cozy locale to sit and enjoy meticulously hand-crafted (yet simple) tapas and a substantial list of beers and wines. Sit back, soak in the music, and relax at Porta.
