Bolesworth Castle

Bolesworth will be transformed into an illuminated wonderland this December. The magical 1.2-mile trail promises a dazzling after-dark experience for all of the family. You’ll travel alongside the lakeside with the backdrop of the castle lit to spectacular effect, then you’ll follow the winding pathways through the woods where you may spot a reindeer or two, travelling over bridges and through the spectacular grounds.

Harvester

Treat your kids to a real Christmas surprise this year at your local Harvester. What could be more exciting than breakfast with Santa?!

He’s making his way on his sleigh from the North Pole specially to spend time with you and your little ones and he can’t wait to see them and enjoy a breakfast together.

Santa is a busy man, so we’ve already secured dates with him on the 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, and 20th-24th of December (inclusive). Pre-booking is essential so make sure to book today.

Make sure your little ones have a Christmas to remember from £6.99 per child and £7.99 on Christmas Eve, and remember to check your local Harvester for the exact time Santa’s popping in. It’s not every day St Nick stops by, after all!

A holiday favourite, families can see Father Christmas and his elf helpers in a festive grotto at the Farm. Enjoy roaming entertainers, live music with festive choirs and brass bands and stop off for a tasty treat in the Christmas Cafe located in the Clydesdale Barn.

Don’t forget to take your photo in Santa’s sleigh and make your own magical reindeer food in the Mill to take home and sprinkle around on Christmas Eve!

Walton Hall and Gardens are delighted to be hosting Luminate this winter. Presenting the light fantastic, you can expect spectacular, illuminated trails full of wonder and intrigue.

So, as darkness descends, join Luminate as they weave a captivating light trail through our stunning grounds. Complete with incredible lighting elements, fabulous light play and ambient music – this experience will enthral your senses.

Step into our festive magical grotto, featuring Santa’s elves, 7ft polar bears plus beautiful twinkling lights and decorations as soon as you walk through the door!

This is where your magical experience begins. On your table you will find beautiful crafts to create and paint, reindeer food making and letter writing to post into Santa’s North Pole post-box.
